April is a month filled with fun silly comedies at Central Cinema, and The Baron wants in on the action. A gaggle of college kids head off to the woods for a weekend where they encounter Tucker and Dale, two country fellas looking to have a vacation of their own. But when the weekend takes a fatal turn for the college kids, the coeds realize the two hillbillies have more murderous fun in store for them unless they fight back. Except the kids are wrong. It's not even a hidden twist. From the jump, we see Tucker and Dale for the friendly, well meaning folx that they are, who only want to help one of the injured kids, and convince the rest that their hearts are in the right place. The script offers humor with heart and no shortage of blood as the kids keep making every horror movie mistake, never stopping to realize they aren't actually in any mortal danger from the friendly title duo. Thankfully, Baron Von Terror will be on hand to make sure the audience survives and knows where the real danger comes from as we cheer on Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil.
