Tobe Hooper and Steven Spielberg team up for a fun fright fest filled with fear. It's a movie that teaches kids why they shouldn't sit so close to the TV. The Freelings are a fairly functional family living in an unassuming planned community. Their lives are fairly normal and peaceful until their young daughter Carol Anne starts talking to the TV. Worse, something is talking back to her. What follows is a series of tormenting scares that rattles the family to its core. What are you afraid of? Clowns? Trees?
