Frankenstein (1931)

The classic Universal horror hit attacks the screen at Central Cinema.<div><br></div><div>Dr. Henry Frankenstein obsesses over creating life. He's so obsessed that he assembles a creature from body parts of the dead. He and his assistant Fritz then bring the being to life; great success! Except, oops, the creature escapes and wreaks havoc (both accidentally and on purpose) on the nearby countryside.</div><div><br></div><div>Based on Mary Shelly's sci-fi horror classic, Universal took the creature from her book and made him an icon. Boris Karloff's work as the creature holds up as one of horror's most remembered performances. Director James Whale delivers an audience pleasing tale that doesn't shy from the moral questions the book raises</div>DramaPT1H10MUnrated. Probably PG-ish2026-10-23USen
