Milos Foreman crafted an epic tale of two composers: Antonio Salieri, a musical mediocrity who seeks to sabotage Mozart, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a musical genius who is quite capable of sabotaging himself. It is an apt metaphor to say this film hits many notes with pitch-perfection.
